Specialist Notes:


We may begin to see a sudden surge of inquiries regarding the Mandatory ITA Travel Policy Training 2025, that was assigned to about 830 ITA federal staff members today. Please know that the ITA administrators have already tested this course numerous times and have not reported any issues within it. The initial email has been sent out ( which you can find below, along with instructions ) with five reminder emails that have been configured to go out to users, as appropriate, for this training.


"In accordance with the Department of Commerce Travel Policy Handbook, all ITA travelers, travel arrangers, and travel approvers must complete annual travel policy training. The new ITA Travel Policy Training 2025 has been assigned to your user transcript in ITA’s Commerce Learning Center (CLC). This annual training meets the Department’s travel policy training requirements and is mandatory for all Headquarters and U.S. Field travelers, travel arrangers, and travel approvers.

If you do not complete “ITA Travel Policy Training 2025” on the Commerce Learning Center (CLC) by 10/10/2025, then your E2 account will be disabled.

 

To complete the ITA Travel Policy Training 2025 course:

  1.  Access CLC using the Chrome or Edge browsers (be sure your pop-up blocker is disabled).
  2.  On the “Learning” tab, select “View Transcript".
  3. In the “Active” area, “ITA Travel Policy Training 2025” will be listed, click “Launch” for the course to begin.
  4. If you do not see the course on your transcript, you may access the course by searching in CLC for “ITA Travel Policy Training 2025”, selecting the course, and clicking “Request” or “Launch”.
  5. After completing the course, click “Exit” to close the course.  You can access your certificate from your CLC transcript of completed courses.


If you completed “ITA Travel Policy Training 2025” but did not receive credit on your CLC transcript, or have other technical issues, please contact CLC Live Support by clicking the purple 24x7 live support button on the ITA main page on CLC.

As mentioned in the email, this course isn't due until Friday, October 10th, but as usual, we more than likely will see users contacting us last minute with any issues.
