Note:
DOC ITA employees will need to update their information in GovTA to correct any information that is not correct. However, contractors and temp positions, such as interns, are not granted CLC access.
LES (Locally Employed Staff) employees should first reach out to their supervisors for support.
If further assistance is needed, please inform LES users that their supervisor will then need to submit a ticket in the ITA ServiceNow (ITA Helpdesk) ticketing system stating they need to update employee information. This will allow the ITA IT systems to get updated, which feeds into the CLC.

If you are a federal employee, please follow the steps below to make updates to your account in GovTA:
1. Log in to GovTA: https://docgovta.commerce.gov/govta.
2. Click "Settings" on the employee menu.
3. Scroll down to "Email Address" and enter your trade.gov e-mail address.
4. Click Save.
Kindly note, any changes made to GovTA may take 2-4 weeks to be reflected in your CLC account, and that some types of LES positions, contractors, and temporary positions, such as interns, are not granted CLC access.
